Turning a Toothpick Holder
Dave Wells is a retired Industrial Arts teacher and long time member and past president of BWWT. His turning talents are displayed almost every month on the "Show-n-Tell" table. They are always creative, colorful and imaginative. This month he'll be demonstrating turning a Toothpick Holder. Good chance to see some spindle turning techniques and the creation of a fun, useful item.

What's New?
THE BWWT CHALLENGE!!
What can YOU turn from a block of wood?
Well - you're going to have a chance to show everyone.
There will be 3 - 4 Challenges per year.
Each challenge will consist of 10 turners.
Each turner will be given a block of wood approximately the same size.
The goal is to return the block - "completed".
What "completed" means is up to the turner.
Completed projects will be judged by the members present at the meeting.
1) Best Overall, 2) Honorable Mention, 3) Most Creative
