Starting in October 2021 the Buckeye Woodworkers & Wood Turners will have a new home!!!
The BWWT Board has found a new meeting space to meet live & in-person again. We have been in contact with Camp Y-Noah and we will not be able to meet at the camp when the kids are also at the camp. Meaning we will not be able to meet on Saturdays for the foreseeable future & possibly most if not all of 2022. This policy by the Camp Y-Noah is due to the kids under 12 are not vaccinated for COVID-19.
On the positive side we have been working very closely with the City of Akron and they have agreed to provide monthly meeting space on the second Saturday of the month at no charge. The space the City of Akron has agreed to is the Northwest Family Recreation Center, 1730 Shatto Ave., Akron, OH 44313. See maps below.
We are looking forward to seeing you in October! Bring your masks and join us for a REMOTE DEMONSTRATION... We might even have some donuts to share!
